Twin plug distributor We offer twin ignition distributors that we helped develop. The casting looks like the Marelli distributor used on the early 906-911 race engines. It can be ordered to replace either the small (up to 1971) or large (1972 on) distributor. A big advantage of this distributor is that it uses an inexpensive cap and rotor. If you need an advanced curve, MSD makes an electronic “advance box” that has a 20º curve in it, which works very well in street or race applications. The distributor can be ordered with or without an internal pickup.
